Open Side Dumping Hoppers offer easy side loading of debris or materials so they can be moved to another area.
Open Side Dumping Hoppers can be loaded through the open sides. Because this can occur close to the ground, lifting and bending motions may be lessened reducing the chance of employee injuries. This 2000 pound capacity (evenly distributed) hopper needs to be secured to the forklift by a safety chain before dumping it using the 48" pull cable. It can also be dumped by bumping the front dump release against a dumpster. After dumping, the hopper returns to the upright and locked position. Fork pockets are 7-1/2 wide x 2-1/2 high on 18" centers. A blue powdercoat finish is standard for resistance to rust.
