A self-propelled vertical mast lift designed for use in narrow spaces such as warehouses, supermarkets, hotels, and airports. It features a fully sealed AC system and maintenance-free batteries, making it efficient, waterproof, and safe. The lift has a maximum working height of 36 feet 9 inches, and can be driven at full height. It offers a 9 feet 3 inches horizontal extension, enhancing its reach and flexibility.

The lifter can be used with the center mounted hook point for balanced lifting capabilities with an overhead hoist or with a forklift by utilizing the attached fork pockets [retaining strap included]. After choosing which lifting style will work best, secure the loops of the bag to the four strap points for safe maneuvering and transporting.

Man lifts increase productivity across a variety of industries. However, while they can offer tremendous value and add new functionality to your workplace, they can quickly become a liability if not used with safety in mind. The majority of man lift deaths and injuries occur due to falls from work platforms, electrocutions, lift collapses, and tip overs. Many of these mishaps can be avoided.

Here, we have compiled a list of safety protocol points, designed to minimize risk when using a man lift:

Hire responsible individuals, providing them with good training that includes testing.

Ensure the operator stays focused, operating the lift with a clear mind.

Ensure the operator wears hard hats, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and avoids wearing loose clothes. In addition, make sure that any long hair is restrained and pulled back.

Inspect the lift regularly, in order to ensure it is in optimal operating condition.

Adhere to capacity limits in regards to weight, as well as common sense limits such as never putting scaffolding on the lift platform.

When positioning the man lift, take note and avoid proximity of nearby power lines and wires if applicable.

Never attempt to override the lift’s safety features, or attempt to disable them.

Only use man lifts in areas with good ventilation.

Always wear the proper harness, securing the lanyard to the bucket.

Do not use the lift as a crane, lifting heavy tools, bulky equipment, or other items not intended for the man lift.

Never sit or climb on the edge of the work platform.

Keep people and items clear of the boom’s range of motion.

Only move the lift around the job site in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Adhering to these safety suggestions will help you and your staff to safely operate your man lift and reduce the potential for injury or death. As with all industrial equipment, making sure that the equipment is in good working order and used properly is key.
